Audio Designer (m/f/d)
R&D · Remote (Germany) · Full-time
As Audio Designer you shape the acoustic quality of our sensing products — from microphone array tuning to how well they hear the real world.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and tune microphone array and beamforming configurations for acoustic sensing use cases
- Evaluate and optimize audio quality (noise reduction, signal-to-noise ratio) across real-world deployment scenarios
- Collaborate with signal-processing and ML engineers on sound event recognition and classification quality
- Conduct field recordings and acoustic measurements to validate hardware and algorithm performance
- Define and maintain audio quality standards and test procedures for new hardware revisions
What You Bring
- Degree or equivalent practical experience in audio engineering, acoustics, or signal processing
- Experience with microphone arrays, beamforming, or acoustic signal design
- Familiarity with audio measurement and analysis tools (e.g. Python/MATLAB, acoustic test equipment)
- Understanding of real-world noise environments and practical audio quality trade-offs
- Confident communicator in English and German; hands-on and detail-oriented
Hardware Developer (m/f/d)
Engineering · Remote (Germany) · Full-time
As Hardware Developer you design and build the embedded sensor hardware behind our acoustic sensing products — from schematic to production-ready board.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and layout PCBs for embedded sensor hardware (microcontrollers, MEMS microphones, sensor interfaces)
- Select components and define the BOM for reliable, cost-target production hardware
- Bring hardware from prototype to production readiness, working with contract manufacturers on DFM, EMC, and certification
- Bring up, debug, and validate prototypes across hardware revisions
- Work closely with firmware and signal-processing engineers to ensure a solid hardware-software fit
What You Bring
- Degree in electrical engineering, embedded systems, or comparable practical experience
- Experience designing PCBs (schematic capture and layout, e.g. Altium or KiCad) for embedded or IoT products
- Familiarity with microcontrollers, sensor interfaces (I2S, I2C, SPI), and power management
- Hands-on experience taking hardware from prototype to series production
- Structured, hands-on way of working; confident communicator in English and German
Project Manager (m/f/d)
Operations · Remote (Germany) · Full-time
As Project Manager you drive our hardware and software projects from kickoff to delivery — coordinating engineering, production, and customers so that acoustic sensing systems ship on time and to spec.
Your Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and track projects across hardware, firmware, and software workstreams
- Act as the main point of contact for customers and partners throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, production, sales) and manage dependencies
- Identify risks early and drive mitigation, keeping stakeholders informed with clear reporting
- Continuously improve our project management processes and tooling
What You Bring
- Several years of experience managing technical projects, ideally in hardware/IoT or embedded systems
- Strong organizational skills and comfort working with distributed, cross-functional teams
- Confident communicator in English and German, both with customers and internal teams
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Linear, or similar)
- Structured, hands-on way of working with a good sense for priorities
